Tim's Birthday Part 1: Disneyland
Tim gets not one but THREE birthday celebrations. Things got off to a great start with a visit to Disneyland on June 14th, 2006:
Tim, Chris and I headed out to Disneyland and went straight for lunch at the House of Blues on Downtown Disney. After that we went straight into the park. We went into the Town Hall, where Tim received a special birthday phone call from Goofy, and Tim got a special birthday sticker. All the park employees wished him happy birthday when they saw him:

Heading down Main Street, on our way to meet up with Brian and Lucas:

But first, a visit with Indiana Timmy:

Chris wasn't feeling too well:

We found Brian and Lucas stuffing their faces in the French Quarter:

I have no idea why Chris put is leftovers on Tim's head. I'm sure it was relevant at the time:

Our first ride of the day was the Haunted Mansion, our favorite:

Down the spoooooooky hallway:

Don't be scared Tim!

Next, a group photo in front of the castle:

Then, on to the Buzz Lightyear laser tag ride:

Those aliens don't stand a chance when you give Alyse a gun!

"Ok Tim... show me with the dolls what the bad man did to you"

Yes, I married a five-year-old:

Space Mountain was closed, but Tim couldn't resist a stop into the arcade.
T&A playing Battle Tanks - you drive a tank and blow shit up. What could be better?

And we played soccer, but you kick the ball to knock down bowling pins. Whatever, I got to kick stuff:

Tim playing Mario Kart:

The Mario Kart game takes a picture of you and puts you "in" the game. Here is Tim as Mario:

Brian is kicking it old skool with Galaga:

I finally tear the boys out of the arcade, and we hit up Star Tours before we leave Tomorrowland.
Who is that guy who jumped into the photo? Oh wait, it's just Brian:

Uh, honey, you've got something growing out of your neck:

Next, Matterhorn:

While in Fantasyland, we stopped by this photomosaic. About a year ago, Disney asked fans to send in their favorite photos of themselves at Disneyland. These photos would be included in photomosaics scattered around the park. Tim sent in our photo, and they put it in this Cinderella photomosaic. Can you find our photo?

Here we are, right above the glass slipper!

After a brief bout of narcissism, we got ice cream and sat down with some ducks. This little bugger was vicious and attacked a duckling when it tried to eat his Dorito. This photo was taken... uh, before his feathers were ruffled (come on you knew that was coming)

No one was brave enough to go on the real Teacup ride, so we took a photo in this stationary one. I guess Brian didn't get the memo about the teacup not moving.

Tim's older brother was seven when Tim was born. His parents let him name the new baby, and he chose Timothy, after Timothy the mouse from Dumbo. In honor of that, we rode Dumbo:

Next up was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad:

Uh, Tim? The train hasn't left the station yet

Next, a relaxing cruise through the jungle. We caught this elephant taking a shower. Good thing he remembered his trunks

A beautiful waterfall

And yes, the moment you have all been waiting for........... THE BACK SIDE OF WATER!

By this point, we were all tired, hot, and hungry. So it was time to board the Monorail to take us to Downtown Disney

The view into the old submarine ride, being redone for Finding Nemo

Brian and Chris were hot and tired

But Tim is still ready for more!

Space Mountain from the Monorail:

We didn't make it over to California Adventure, but there goes the Tower of Terror

We ate at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, which serves delicious Creole food:

They had a beautiful piano there, covered in Mardi Gras beads. Later, a musician sat down and played. Sadly, he sounded exactly like Randy Newman.

After dinner we realized that we had done everything in the park that we wanted to do. Plus we were all tired (I slept the whole way home). But before we left, I went to the bathroom... and found these toilet seat covers:

I dunno, personally I thought the covers were just ok. I wouldn't call them "awesome."
